Silverman Collection of Silver Dollars to Anchor Heritage’s CSNS Signature Sale

Dallas, TX -- The Morris Silverman Collection of Silver Dollars will anchor Heritage’s Central States Numismatic Society Signature Sale in Columbus, Ohio. The coins, which are featured in a separate, full-color catalog, will lead off Session One of the auction at 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 25 in the Greater Columbus Convention Center, Room D-130.

“It is difficult to choose a favorite coin from a collection that contains so may fabulous rarities,” stated Greg Rohan, Heritage’s Executive VP. “Nevertheless, the single most important coin in the Silverman Collection is certainly the 1884 Trade Dollar. One of just 10 coins known, this specimen is pedigreed to the collection of Ambassador and Mrs. R. Henry Norweb. Prior to their ownership, the coin was the property of Egypt’s King Farouk. The coin is certified PR63 PCGS, and it certain to entice spirited bidding by both floor bidders and Internet participants.”
