Miller Dollar Collection

W. David Perkins Numismatics in partnership with Andy Lustig has purchased the Miller Collection of Early Silver Dollars 1794-1803 and is offering the collection for sale at fixed prices.  This collection was assembled over 32 years included all 118 different die marriages (combinations of obverse and reverse dies) known at the time, and all of the different Red Book and PCGS Registry Set Types.  It was the #1 Type Set in the PCGS Registry as well as the top set by die marriage in the Early Dollar Census of the John Reich Collectors Society (JRCS). 


All of the coins are graded by PCGS with the majority of the coins with in grades from XF to AU, with many unique die marriages, Finest Known and Condition Census Specimens, Plate Coins, and Late Die States.  Many of these coins resided at one time in the great collections of the past – Atwater, Eliasberg, Stickney, Earle, Amon Carter, Bolender, Ostheimer, Frank Stirling, K. P. Austin, W. G. Baldenhofer, Spies, Reiver, James Matthews, and others.
