1842 1C N-8 Large Date PCGS MS66BN - Ex. Newcomb-Starr-Naftzger-Pogue

This beautiful 1842 Large Cent is graded PCGS MS66 BN (approximately 10% Red), and comes with a great pedigree - Newcomb-Starr-Naftzer-Pogue!  The pedigree, as cataloged in the Stack's-Sotheby's The D. Brent Pogue Collection Sale Part V is as follows:

This coin was Lot 415 in Stack's Public Auction Sale June 13, 14, 1984 (auction tag included), the sale of the Floyd T. Starr Collection.  It also includes a customer box to house the PCGS slab (originally from Stack's Bowers).
