1836 25C Capped Bust Quarter B-5, R-6+ PCGS VG10 (CAC)

This is a very rare die marriage and is missing from a number of collections. The obverse die was used for two die marriages dated 1836 while the reverse die was also used for five other die marriages dated 1835, 1836, and 1837!

The highest graded example listed in Early Quarters of the United States Mint 1796-1838 is AU50, and the highest in the most recent JRCS Census is XF45 (these two examples may be the same coin). This is a very nice coin for the grade and is CAC Approved.
