1835 LG DATE SM 5C Capped Bust Half Dime LM-5.1, R-4 H10C NGC AU58

This is the 1835 Large Date, Small 5C Type and a scarce half dime remarriage (R-4) in a favorite collector grade of AU58. This coin is toned in medium gray with deeper gold at the peripherals on both sides. Nice surfaces for the grade. One tiny tick above the eagle's nose is noted on the reverse.

For those collecting the half dimes by die marriage and remarriages, the LM-5.1 die marriage is R-4.  This coin was CC #3 the 2013 JRCS Half Dime Census.
