1825/4/(2) 25C Browning 3 with Retained Cud Capped Bust Quarter PCGS VG8

This is an example of a late die state 1825 B-3 (erroneously marked B-2 on PCGS holder) quarter with a retained cud on the reverse at UNITED. It is struck from Rea et. all Die State c, Stage 4 (R-6+). This is a very nice looking VG example of this neat die state, with medium gray and gold toning on both sides. Surfaces are well above average for a ciculated early quarter graded VG.
