Rare Silver Washington Funeral Medal
This is about as nice as they come for a medium circulated example of this important medal. The dies for the Washington Funeral Medals were made by Jacob Perkins of Newburyport, Mass. Those struck in silver were more expensive than examples struck in white metal when purchased in 1799 to early 1800, and are more expensive today. Holed at 12:00 as originally made.
