1800 $1 Dotted Date Draped Bust Dollar BB-194, B-14 Dotted Date PCGS XF40 (CAC)

This very original coin was purchased recently from a 20-25 year collection of early dollars. The collector had a great eye for color, eye appeal, and surfaces. This example is toned a very attractive medium gray on both sides, with some traces of lustre remaining at the peripherals. This is the so-called "Dotted Date" type, a popular Redbook and PCGS Registry type coin. House in an older PCGS blue holder. CAC Approved.
