1795 H10C LM-10 with Obverse CUD Flowing Hair Half Dime NGC VF30 (Old Holder)

This coin has been off the market for over 30 years and has never been sold at auction. It was originally purchased raw and at some time was sent to NGC for grading where it was graded NGC VF30. It is struck from a late die state of LM-10. On this die marriage, the dies clashed early, and then were lapped. Importantly, there is a heavy raised Cud at TY and Star 9. This coin is weakly struck on the left obverse and corresponding left side of the reverse resulting in weak striking in these areas. This coin is toned a attractive medium to deep gray on both sides.
