This specimen (Serial Number #615) of the Boyd Park Lesher dollar is unlisted in The Adna Wilde Lesher (Dollar) Census. Boyd Park was both an issuer of a Lesher Dollar for his Jewelry business and an agent for Joseph Lesher offering Lesher Dollars to other merchants. Lesher Dollars are listed in the 2018 Red Book on page 419. Many advanced silver dollar collectors of he 1940s through 1980s collected the Lesher Dollars along with early United States Silver Dollars from 1794 to 1803, Gobrecht and Seated Dollars, Trade Dollars, Patterns, and Morgan and Peace Dollars.
This Mint State Specimen is toned a medium gray & gold, with some lighter silver surfaces showing through the toning. There are no marks of note at arm's length or under a 5X glass.
