Product Description

This is a lustrous and very attractive Reeded Edge Half Dollar and is about as nice as you could imagine for a coin graded PCGS MS63. Slightly PL surfaces with golden gray toning covers both sides of this coin, with much electric blue mixed in at the edges. The Dick Graham Condition Census lists specimens in ranges from MS65 to MS63; this coin appears to be among the top 13 or so coins for this die marriage. All in all a strong date, type coin, or example for the die marriage.

We note that the price for an 1837 RE 50C in PCGS MS64 is almost double the price of a PCGS MS63 example.
