This is the finest known example of the 1798 Pointed 9, 5 Lines (in the Shield) Type and is graded PCGS AU53 CAC. This coin is missing from many Red Book and PCGS Registry Sets. This example is from the World's Greatest Collection (F.C.C. Boyd) which was sold in 1945 and is also ex. Milferd Bolender and the Plate Coin in the Bolender early dollar book.
